Privacy notice

What we store

• If you practise as a guest: a random ID kept in your browser, the companies you pick, your practice answers and mock tests, and the readiness, points and streaks worked out from them. We don’t know who you are.
• If you create an account: your email address and name, and, if you use Google, the basic profile Google shares. Your guest practice moves to your account.
• If you join the weekly leaderboard: the nickname you choose, shown next to your points for the week.
• If you report a placement outcome: whether you sat the test and how far you got, used without your name to check whether readiness predicts results, and only if you tick the consent box.
• If you contact us or report a problem: your message and the email you give us.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t show advertising.
• We never show your scores or readiness to other students or to colleges.
• We don’t use your answers to train an AI model.

Where it’s kept

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database run by Neon, in the United States (US East). Sign-in is handled by Neon Auth. Both providers process data on our behalf.

In your browser

We keep a few small items in your browser so the site works without an account:

• cl_user_id: your guest or account ID
• cl_targets: the companies you picked
• theme and cl_sound: your display and sound settings
• A sign-in cookie, only while you’re logged in

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

• Leave the leaderboard at any time from the Progress page.
• Log out from Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings. Your sign-in, answers, points and saved companies go at once. A guest can erase this browser’s progress the same way.
• For a copy of everything we hold about you, contact us from the email on your account.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we’ll update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
